Saiwuting Moonlight 

Tianshan Mountain

Hosted by Huaxing Arts Group Australia and sponsored by Nan Hai Culture & Media (Australia) Group together with Homart Pharmaceuticals Pty Ltd, the "Saiwuting Moonlight Tianshan Mountain”, a large-scale art performance and dance show will be presented on the 24th of September 2017 and staged at the International Convention Centre Sydney. The art performances are mainly of Tibetan and Xinjiang performances in western China with folk performances of other ethnic minorities such as Inner Mongolia, Yunnan-Guizhou and Sichuan-Guizhou, to fully demonstrate the long and splendid culture and original ethnic art style of various ethnic groups in China.

Australia is known for its multiculturalism. China is also a multi-ethnic country where all ethnic groups live in harmony amongst each other. The western region is a gathering area for the ethnic minorities in China. Its vast land contains many unknown natural scenery and local customs. Through the careful planning and arrangement, the mysterious western world will be displayed in front of Australian audiences. The opening dance "Impression of Tibet" will bring the audience into sight of a pure and holy snowy plateau, beautifully coloured Tibetan costumes, melodic timbre moving Tibetan instruments which will together show the audience the Tibetan’s colourful ethnic culture from multiple angles. Teana-like voices and graceful dance will be a feast for the audience’s eyes. The evening will conclude with the choir of the Peking Opera singing "I am Chinese".

Huaxing Art Festival will be the third event this year. Looking back on the journey all the way, the first "Huaxing Art Festival" in 2015 will be the first full display to the audience after the involvement and integration of different art groups in Sydney through the large platform of the Huaxing Art troupe. Since 2016 during the second "Huaxing Art Festival", the collaborative performance of celebrities from China and the local Huaxing Art troupe formed the key foundation to a new beginning.

The 3rd Huaxing Art Festival is composed of two performances of "Blossoming Flowers Open to the Sun" and "Seaming outside the Moon as Tianshan". This festival, for the first time, confirmed the concept of "Mid-Autumn Festival Performance Season" in Sydney. The sixteen programs of the "SEA Moonlight Tianshan" party were all selected from 45 Sydney local Chinese community arts groups under the cooperation of Huaxing and showcased the growth process of the Huaxing Art troupe and the continuous rise of the Huaxing Art Festival during the past three years together with the local artists' deep understanding of national culture.

The Huaxing Art troupe aims to build a platform for displaying Chinese culture and art. By integrating the artistic power of overseas Chinese communities with the wondrous Chinese and local culture, Huaxing Art troupe will pass on the artists' unique perceptions and understanding of the national culture of the Australian community. In the "Huaxing Art Festival", the sub-groups affiliated to the Huaxing Art troupe also regularly visit the homes for the aged and the schools for handicapped people to present their performances in order to better serve the community through different forms of performing arts and culture exchange.
