Mid-Autumn Festival was held at the Sydney Town Hall on September 5, 2018. The
Chinese Consul General in Sydney Mr. Gu Xiaojie, Deputy Consul General Mi Bin,
Consul Sun Yantao, and Chinese communities leaders, more than 2,000 spectators
watched the show.

During the performance, outstanding teams and
artists from the Huaxing Arts Group presented a colourful program to the
audience, showing the different performance characteristics of many ethnic
groups.

The program [Flower and Moon] also incorporates
modern rap elements. In addition, [Autumn Moon], [I hope people will last long
] [Full Moon] and many other songs point out the Mid-Autumn theme,
the singer sang the song to the moon, and
brought back the Chinese homesickness. The finale of the female-only solo
"Love of the Motherland" brought the whole performance to a climax,
and the audience applauded.

Mr. Li Bing said that the party will allow more
Chinese to understand Australia and understand Sydney, which is beneficial to
the friendly exchanges between China and Australia.
Mr.Yu Junwu, the director of the evening
party and head of the Sydney Huaxing Art Group said that every year the Chinese
in Sydney pass the Mid-Autumn Festival and can only watch the Mid-Autumn
Festival through the screen. This year, the Huaxing Art Troupe can be on the
scene and become a performer of the party. This is very meaningful. He said
that the evening party will benefit the Chinese culture and enrich the
Australian multiculturalism.
